when Obama tossed 3 reporters off his plane today because they supported McCain..why is that?

It is becoming more and more apparent that Obama has an authoritarian streak that makes him want to silence all opposition. This is typical of radical socialists (e. g. Hugo Chavez.) But it is necessary for left-wingers to silence dissent in order to hold power since their ideas don't hold up in fair and open debate. Why do you think they want to silence talk radio? To them, the First Amendment is at best an inconvenience and, at worst, a threat.

BTW, can you imagine the howl that would go up in the mainstream media if McCain kicked liberal reporters off his plane?

Journalists from three major newspapers that endorsed John McCain -- the Washington Times, the New York Post and the Dallas Morning News -- have been booted from Barack Obama's campaign plane for the final leg of the presidential race.

The Washington Times reported Friday that it was notified of the Obama campaign's decision Thursday evening -- even though the paper has covered Obama from the start.

Executive Editor John Solomon told FOXNews.com that the Obama campaign said it didn't have enough seats on the plane, but "I don't think the explanation makes sense to us."

He said the newspaper protested but was turned down again by the campaign.

Obama campaign's decision came just two days after the paper endorsed McCain.

According to the Web site The Drudge Report, the three newspapers' reporters were told to find alternative transportation by Sunday so that the plane could accommodate "network bigwigs" and reporters from two black magazines, Essence and Jet.

Also joining up with the Obama campaign are the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times.

Obama is not the only candidate to play hardball with the press. McCain's campaign has reportedly barred Time columnist Joe Klein and New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, who have been critical of the Republican candidate, from the Republican candidate's plane. However, Klein & Dowd were columnists, not reporters.

This sites have a ton of information,even the Occidental/Ayers/SDS stuff, cousin Obinga in Kenyan and failed race and what happened to the churches and just some of stuff the reporters and others have dug up, but main stream media will not report. Might understand why he had his birth certificate sealed and his med records. I know moreaboutt Joe the Plumber than him, wonder if the state employee (appointee) will get in trouble for what she did, I don't mean giving Obmama a $2,500 donation, I mean investigating Joe. Guess she gets a free ticket, maybe that will end.

Ok - I know FOX tried to make a big deal out of this, but I think it's nothing. These reporters have had their chance to ask their questions and write their articles - in fact they were allowed to do it first. As a presidential candidate, he needs to relate with as many media outlets as possible, and it's not like he has endless time to spend with the same journalists over and over. I suspect he was asked to do a special interview starting Monday, and they had to make room somewhere. Why should any journalist have preference over new journalists that haven't gotten their chance yet?

Duh it is cause there were not enough seats all of a sudden - they only had enough seats for them for the last 6 months and now the plane got smaller all of a sudden Jeeze - do you read the papers and what the Obama people say.
