From windows XP Profesional?

From Net work connection I click on "create a new connection" that sends me to: New Connectio Wizard Window, I Press Next and it takes me to Network Connection type I then choose connect to the internet and press next, The next option I choose is: Set up my connection manually and then I press next. The window that fallows after that has three options to choose from but two of those three are grayed out, One of those option that are grayed out is "Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user and pass word" and that is the one I need to click on but I cannot since is grayed out. Question: how can I fix this problem I checked other computers and laptops with same operating system and the option exsist and is also available. Thank you for your time

    That means either

The windows user account your using needs to have admin rights.

or you have a dodgy network card in your PC ;)

Go to Control Panel / User Accounts and make sure you have been listed as "Computer Administrator" and you don't have limited rights.

Like the previous answer, I think that you may not be logged in as an administrator.
