If I had to pick a favourite I'd pick Voyage au Centre de la Terre (Journey to the interior of the Earth in English, I believe)

But really, I don't have a favourite book of his. I think I prefer the way he writes to the actual stories.I like the way he writes everything in such a real manner, and how he writes as if everything were real, because it wasn't all real in his day. He wrote with so much power and knowledge, and he knew he did too. He gives the sense that everything he wrote was so true, and I don't think he doubted anything he said for a second.

    I'm sorry, I'm rambling a bit.

But yes, if you haven't read Journey to the interior of the Earth, you must. But they're all good.

Hi, dear! It's nice to hear that someone is still interested in "old" books of their time. "Around the World in 80 Days" and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" never get us bored to read. Enjoy!

    The Mysterious Island

(It's such a good read; there's also a very thrilling movie based on the book).
