I mean what locations are people gathering to watch together (or by party affiliation)?

We can watch it in real-time on TV or Internet if we want to watch.
Addition:
I don't think there are places in Tokyo where people gather to watch the result of US election.
This is US election, not Japanese. So not many people watch it.

It will mainly be on cable channels like CNN. I really doubt if there will be groups of people getting together just to watch the results.Also remember the difference in time.

Most of Japanese people don't care about it or excite the election itself. It is just one of international news. You'd better go into some US base where people are always talking about it in .

Contact Democrats Abroad Japan or Republicans Abroad Japan. I am sure they will have both have gatherings.
