Land of hope and glory
God save the queen is about her or the king.
Land of hope and glory is about of our land the free,
It is more rousing than the latter.
So it has to be land of hope and glory.

What was it he said Inane drivel ..at the end ... Got to admit though the National Anthem is boring .. It should have been Land of Hope and Glory ..after all it's the National Anthem not a Praise the Queen song ..Dont get me wrong I love the monarchy and all they stand for .. but the Anthem don't represent the country only our Royalty .. and as Billy said there are so many people wanting to get in here .. thats exactly what it is The land of hope and the best place in the world to live .. apart from the weather ...LOL .............Vortash

Yes, the theme tune from the Archers would make a fantastic national antham and, as Billy says, the immigrants could learn it on the bus from the plane to the airport terminal! It would be a lot better than that awful dirge we have at the moment.
