i cant seem to find out how, all i can find is ones that cost aout $2 of so. how do websited like yahoo make their sites? i know that they dont pay $2 a month ... plz help if u can.

Yahoo probably spend thousands a month on hosting, probably not from another company but if you divide their hosting costs over 1 year it will be lots. And for actually building their sites they probably spend hundred of thousands. If you want a website for free goto http://freewebs.com./

Freewebs.com does free hosting and domain. (domain is freewebs.com/yoursite).
You can use site builder mode or write HTML yourself.

read html tutorials and learn....
w3schools.org is a good start, when you can make a website it will all fall into place.
