You'll have to call and find out the cost as far as your family plan goes, but it's way cheaper to have unlimited texting. People text for the same reason that they e-mail instead of calling. It's just an easier way to communicate and if you have a set dollar number for texting a month, it will save your talk minutes. I was finally convinced to get my daughter unlimited texting when I found out that, that would save other minutes and one month she spent over $44.00 because individual texting on her phone (Sprint) was 10 cents a text.

Maybe your parents don't want you texting, but if you are doing it anyway, it is cheaper to have it included in your plan.

i dont have a phone i have never had a phone i used my moms phone to text. I dont really know why texting is so much better than calling a person i guess its because like if ur in church or someethinf it would be better to text than to actually pick up a phone and talk to somebody. Just ask ur parents why u cant have unlimited texting its not that hard.i dont know how much it costs 4 a whole family...vote me best answer :)

You Can text them in class when your at school if you forgot something.

Or if they need to ask you what you want from the grocery store.

Its good for when you dont have to right down an adress or sumthing it could be saved in your inbox.

In emergencies, You could text them a secret emergency word that says your in trouble, (kidnapped, someone is robing a store while your in it, Being held hostage)

Texing is good to remind your mom or dad of things they might forget. and if they say you never told them, just tell them to look in there inbox.

and many more things. lol.

Use your imagination

you can:

1. Bribe them

2. Cry on your knees

3. Complain non-stop about it

4. Convince them by saying: ''My friends want to Unlimited Text me,''

5. Say mommy and daddy (if that will ever work)

6. Tell them that sometimes it is easier to text then talk

7. Tell them that you can just text right away insted of waiting to call someone and they don't pick up

*i said i'd pay for mine, but texting is better because if you're with someone else, it's not as disruptive to send a quick text than to call. it's faster,too. why call someone if you just have one question?

-sometimes u go to call someone and u have a bad signal but texts will still usually go through.

-it helps you avoid an awkward phone conversation if your talking to someone new, or that you havent talked to in a while.

Placing yourself near your ear and actually talking on it causes an increase in brain cancers and tumors.

Text messages does not cause this, therefore it is safer for you health wise.
