Smiling can actually make a person look younger. Wrinkles are just natural because of the hormonal changes as we age. The best way to avoid premature wrinkles and fine lines is to use sunscreen, keeping your skin care routine simple (o treat the skin gently, and prevent the appearance of wrinkles, keep things easy and use an anti wrinkle treatment full of the healing properties of essential oils) and establish a good overall healthy habits.

OH MY GOD!!!! No offense but this is the stupidest question i've EVER seen. i mean it's one thing to wear make up or change your look but just stop smiling??????? that is just weird. you should just do whatever you want and when the wrinkles come, let them come. your body does stuff for a reason and when it gives you wrinkles, then probably you're getting old and getting wrinkles. i don't know if not smiling and frowning will help, but everybody will have to deal with wrinkles. sooner or later. if the price for smiling is wrinkles sooner, then I am willing to pay the price.

You won't get frown lines and smile lines if you never do those things. You will get some wrinkles though.

And yes, I think it's extremely ridiculous to never smile in order to not have wrinkles.

Smiling is a great thing to do.

You are going to get wrinkles anyway. Look at your mother and grandmother if you want some idea of how you will look at their age. Just take care of your skin, eat right, use sunscreen, and don't smoke. What ever you do keep smiling and enjoy life.

Maybe...but think about what a sad, emotionless wrinkle-less life you would be leading! If you are that worried, thats why there is botox. Honestly, I would rather have smile lines instead of a smooth, expressionless face.

Yes, smiling can cause lines along the mouth-- HOWEVER, smiling also helps keep the cheek muscles strong, so that your cheek(bone)s will be defined when your older
