Last year and the year before that I lived up in Altoona,Pa . I had moved there from Alabama, and Woah what a difference. Im glad I am not up there anymore because its getting coldder!!!. But I knew it would be cold because my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, etc. all had lived around Oakdale and Oakland, Pa... and I visited them often before my I actually moved up there. My twin is still up there though, and Im visiting her in Late November to watch her swear in for MEPS (army)
I predict it to be cold :(
Last November, it wasn't cold yet around this time and blue knob thought they might have to close for the skiing season. The winter was extremely late and when it did finally arrive it was light. The year before was not much heavier.
Right now, I know from my sister it is cold, and it has snowed already.
So I predict that november is gonna suck. I think its gonna be cold, and I think by late november all of PA will be covered in a few inches of snow. On the bright side, maybe it wont extend so far into the next year as it might if it had started late again :/
Either way its not gonna be warm like it will be in AL, and I would recommend buying a good thick coat now! And if your looking to have fun, I would think ski resorts will be open Mid-december this year, and even though its cold itll be just as fun as Hershey Park/Kennywood.
Oh and Enjoy the days off school for the snow accumlation!

Is there a meteorologist out there? Check the Farmer's Almanac or google the weather patterns for that area.
