What happens next when the hunter becomes the hunted?

If the hunter was excellent in his profession he would be able to quickly turn the change to his advantage.

He could stalk the new hunting party while skirmishing with the weaker ones at the rear or at the side. Seriously weakening and demoralising the group. (The American Colonials were good at this).

He could stay ahead of his adversary, laying various traps that may hinder or harm his adversary. The VietCong were masters).

More often than not the hunter and the hunted are on an equal footing it all depends on which one can apply the better tactics.

then the story will come full circle: hunter hunting the prey and when fortune smiled on the prey, he became the hunter instead. end of story? the prey who was the hunted and later on became the hunter hunted down the former hunter and did to him what the latter did to him at the start of the story. the chase never ends....because both men are so cunning and dexterous.

well, that's my version anyway.

everything is a cycle, the hunter at some point of his life will eventually be hunted. Nobody's sitting at the top of the food chain. Nobody is a true blooded hunter, not even man.

Mosquitoes can attest to that.

And so with lice, and worms, as well as hundreds of microscopic and non-microscopic human parasites.

The hunter who becomes the hunted, rubs black or olive oil all around his body. He arms himself with garlic all around, and ginger and stuff.

And when his prey, who is now the hunter and he the hunted,comes upon him, he hopes the Predator likes him as adobo, cause he already saved him the trouble of looking for the ingredients.

the hunter gets hunted, before any hunter hits again.

The world is turned upside down. The hunter will now flee for his life and fight back to reverse back the status quo.
