How do I restore when CD and floppy reboot doesnt work?
Used my PC before I went to bed. When I got up, the screen was on the Blue and white screen asking me to go to F9 for menu or F10 for setup. I have gone to both and keep getting back to the same screen. The floppy restore disks nor the XP reboot CD work.I cant get into safe mode or anything past the blue and white screen.
It is a generic based on HP. It will not accept any keys except F9 and F10

I think you to perform SYSTEM RECOVERY to restore factory settings..........it will delete everything.....There are different keys to start SYSTEM RECOVERY like F11 for HP or CTRL+F11 for DELL....you didn't mention the make and model no of your computer otherwise i will provide you the correct key.
**When you restart computer it will display the KEY information to start System Recovery

keep pressing F8 on boot and pass in to setup. it supply you an decision on your BIOS which will provide help to alter precedence with which it plenty abode windows. you will might desire to alter the 1st boot mode to Floppy rather of CD stress or harddisk. Very stressful to expain, yet all BIOS are distinctive.

ouch. looks like you might have to take it to a technician if you reallly need whatever's on it back. otherwise just format it and reinstall windows and check the hard drive for problems.
