I do not know how to use Yahoo Mail & Messenger. Where is the best source of info to read up on this?

the account you are using here (i guess) if it's a primary account then it is already an e-mail address. i think when you created that account, you were asked how your e-mail add would be such as "xxx@yahoo.com", or "zzz@ymail.com" or "hhh@rocketmail.com" or any other domain. (domain such as gmail, hotmail, aside from yahoo, etc).

your YM ID/account is the same are the e-mail add. if you don't have the messenger yet, try to install one thru http://messenger.yahoo.com/, recommended version is 8.1. once you have the program (messenger) installed in your computer, open it and log in using your account in yahoo. if you don't have friends yet, on yahoo messenger box, click Yahoo Chat and then click "Join a Room". choose the room/category you want to enter. password will be prompted for confirmation, enter again. once you are inside the chat room, start talking with some of the users and befriend with them then you may ask favor if you could add them in your list. so as to give your addy or account on Yahoo Messenger if asked by anybody. that's too simple to do. or click the word "Help" on Yahoo Page and it will give lot of preferences and answers to any question about using the services of yahoo so as to know the usage of each service preferably the messenger and mail address.
