Can my boyfriend's parents put a restraining order on me?
My boyfriend and I are both under 18, we are still virgins, but we cybered since we live very far away. His parents threatened him that if he has any contact with me they will put a restraining order on me. However, besides the cybering we have not done anything wrong. He lives at New York and I live at California. Is it possible for them to put a restraining order on me?
Can you also answer, don't they have to interview both of us because it also involves us?
So, until he is 18 his parents can file a restraining order against me?
thanks everyone for your answers :D

Yes, suggestive communication with a minor is illegal. The fact you are also a minor does not exempt you from the law.
I doubt they would interview you, they would just file the restraining order, and if you don't show up for court, it will be granted.
Restraining orders from any state are enforceable in all states, so you could wind up getting arrested.

Let's clarify this a little.
First of all, under 18 covers a lot of ground. Different states have different laws regarding contact between age groups. If you are 16 and he is 17, it's probably not as much of an issue as if, lets say, you are both 14.
A general ground rule for the issuance of a restraining order is, will the conduct being enjoined possibly result in the commission of a crime or damage to person or property.
Honestly, without evidence of illegal activity (and cybering is a grey area, text only at least, if photo or video is involved whole different ballgame), they would have a hard time getting an order restraining you from meeting in a park for example.
A more likely scenario is contacting his parents and making sure he can't buy a travel ticket, since he cannot do that as a minor.

Since you are so sure you will be emancipated, then yes, after you get emancipated you can. However, when reality bites you in the ***, you will realize that emancipation is not something that is easy to get. Where will you live? How will you support yourself? How will you do this while continue with your school? Living with your boyfriend is not an option. You need to do all this all on your own with no help from anyone. Got a plan for that? But, of course, you are 15, and you are a lot smarter than all the adults that are telling you that your parents are only looking out for you. So you are not going to listen to anyone here who is agreeing with your parents, and who are telling you that your chances are practically nil for becoming emancipated at 16.

The parents can have the restraining order against you even after he turns 18 but he would have to move out to basically "throw-out" the restraining order.

They can ask a judge to sign a restraining order, but he will need a good reason to sign it.
