where can I donate my red eared slider turtles?
Hello,
I have two turtles that are about 8 years old. I have been taking care of them for this whole time but they have gotten bigger and they need more space to roam but I cannot maintain such a big tank all on my own.
I would never release them to the wild and want someone with more resources to take care of them. Can anyone help please?

A park or a zoo with a extensive pond or lake and a good number of vegitation is the perfect place. additionally, you would be able to desire to place an commercial up on the interior sight food market. there are various people around who could quite choose to have your slider. good success.

My suggestion is to call the local elementary schools and ask if they would like to have them in the office or one of the classrooms. I think it would be a great learning tool for them.
Another idea would be to donate them to a children's hospital for the children to enjoy watching.
Another suggestion would be Craig's List.
I wish you very good luck in placing these turtles.

You may be able to give them to a local pet store or could check online for a local reptile shelter.
