Car parts online stores?

Anyone know where to get car parts cheaper than the standard Checker or Auto Zone, ie shock struts, etc.

For shocks I go to e-bay motors.

But you need to realize a lot of shops will not put on what you bring in. So plan on doing the job yourself.

Also check out the e-bay stores and amazon.com

Know your brands of shocks, Gabriel shocks are just as good a Monroe shocks (IMHO) and I can find them cheaper by a lot. But there are a lot of cheap parts made in China that just don't measure up.

Before you buy on line check out the prices of shocks in non chain parts stores. By the time you pay shipping the deal from that shop may be less then that great deal online.

    Let the buyer beware.

hmm, well if you are willing to go with used parts I would suggest a site like U Need A Part, http://www.uneedapart.com./ They send your request out to salvage yards all around the country and in turn they respond back with prices on the parts you requested. I've used them before to find parts for my Jetta and saved a bunch of money, they usually get back to you pretty fast too. Good luck!

You can get parts anywhere online at a cheaper price, but what happens when you need warranty? Most shops will NOT cover the warranty unless they sold them and installed them. Good luck

except you will discover a "fried" or broken engine you will have not have been given any success for that section/some factors must be broking products/salvage (junk) yards do not wnat to interrupt up the engine
