Based SOLELY on a quote, who would you vote for and why?

I'm older than dirt, I've got more scars than Frankenstein, but I've learned a few things along the way.

-- John McCain

Everybody knows politics is a contact sport.

-- Barack Obama

Farming looks mighty easy when your plow is a pencil and you're a thousand miles from the cornfield.

Eisenhower, because his quote shows an "reality check" insight that's important for any top executive. The first quote is just braggadocio revealing little, and the second is too obvious, again revealing little.

Of course, most people are going to have a hard time with this question because they cannot separate currently inflamed political passions from the dry limitations of this question, "based SOLELY on a quote...". Remember, it's less than a day before election day. There's still a lot of screaming in here.

    John McCain.

as the rep's saying goes, McCains courageous service, experienced leadershop and bold solutions will take america a long long way.

Obama just tries to reach out to the younger generation by saying all this cliched "Everybody knows politics is a contact sport" nonsense. get your head in the bloody game if your going to become president, Obama.

also, a note to 'CHARL L' havent you ever heard of AFFIRMATIVE ACTION? if not then google it. its the only way obama graduated top, because of that reverse racism CRAP.

I'm not sure what Obama means when he describes politics as a contact sport

So it’s not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations. Nobama

So I'll vote for McCain since I am a bitter god fearing gun owner that hates people and money.

Eisenhower! Out of all those, definitely. He lived in a time where he knew what hard work was (on a farm). That quote is so 100% correct.

However, McCain also knows hard work. He worked his butt of in Vietnam, so I would have to go with him as well.

John's stiff arms make him seem

    manic grinning with yellowed gleam

    Tottering round, grimace held high

    Wishing to grab Obama's thigh.

    Impulsive, angry, furious, puerile lies

Angry gods smite his polls from the skies

What a mutt and moron he's become

Articulate and impassioned and morally dumb.

    Old desperate fart.
