How to convice my dad I need a cellphone?

tell him a senario where it would be an emergency...like if your stuck on an elevator...or if you need to dial 911...

well u shud make him feel bad bye like not calling and say ur friends are starting ot be rude about u always using their minutes and stuff and so u had to walk home in the rain and stuff.

or like u cud say that what if u needed help or an emergency..

i understand that he yells at u so instead of bring the cell phone up u shudnt call him and he will get mad and dell ask y didnt u call and say um if i had a cell phone i would call u but apperently i dont.or something like that.AND just keep exagerating things like that.

stay after skol or go hang out wit a frend like every day and tell him that you are getting more involved with other things and that you need 2 communicate with ur dad or sumone in case of an emergency or sumthin like that or that u need 2 stay in touch wit him to pick u up

just be patient. i did the same. dont fall for peer pressure. best thing to do is join some after school activity say like one that youll end up coming home real late or get a job and they most likely give u one.

just deal with it. there are people worse off than you. im 16 i used to have phone but it broke. i cant afford a new one and im doing just fine because i see my friends in person. and i use the home phone if i need to call someone.

Tell him everyone has them nowadays and if he asks 'who's everyone?' say your just being oldfashioned. well if you ever go hang out with your friends and he wants to check up on you then he can call you cell right? and he wonnt have too worry . Just tell him all the resoans its god to have a cellie.

well to get my cell phone i just kept asking my parents for one(the same thing that happened to u happened to me) and then i asked them if i could have one for safety purposes(when im out with friends) and they said ok!so that should work!and if you can find a sale on cell phones that would help alot with convincing your dad!(once again what i did)GOOD LUCK!=D

say it could be a great thing to have in case of emergencys and its great to have to just be able to communicate with your friends and family and stay connected

I don't know if you drive but if you do you need this phone in case you break down.O r if you get left somewhere.
