How do I start about making my last will and testament?
I live in New Brunswick, Canada. I'm interested in making my last will and testament. I've looked at computerized will "kits" but I'm unsure if that's the way to go. Can anyone here share an experience or offer any suggestions? Thanks.

Your best best is to hire a lawyer. Most "garden variety" wills are done rather inexpensivey. Remember, while a will kit may be OK if you know what to do, it will NOT ask all of the necessary questions or give you the answers. You may miss a lot and that is especially true if you have any complexities. Bottom line -- get some legal help so that your survivors do not have to learn why those of us in the legal profession often call them "litigation kits!"

Avoid your family long years of battling in court; get a lawyer to guide you on how to get it right.
You have no idea how many wills end up being declared void and illegal because of some technical mistake.
