Would it matter if Obama was a Terrorist/Socialist/Illegal Alien?

I have always been against the GOP strategy of painting Obama as pal of terrorists, a Marxist, or an illegal alien because I think most Democrats wouldn't care if he was, and undecideds are too stupid to know what those things are anyway. So hypothetically speaking, if it turned out that Obama was buddies with Bin Laden, worshipped Che Guevara, and an illegal alien would it change the outcome of the election at all?

But he isn't a terrorist, socialist, illegal alien. And if he was I would not vote for him.  What id McCain was a baby killing, war mongering, dictator? Would Republicans vote for him?  

I think your question is good, because it brings up the fact that both parties do have some blind followers that would vote for their candidate no matter what. History has shown what a population of blind followers produces. Ask the Germans. Thomas Jefferson said "Democracy is dependant on an educated and well informed populace". I question if many partisans of either party have either.  I don't need a radio talk show host to tell me how to think.

I think it's time to be Americans, and keep our country in mind before we think of party. We should be able to differ on views, and that IS what makes us strong.  But the mean spirited character assasinations have nothing to do with anything but smear.

I'm for Obama. If he was a socialist, I would so still vote for him (to me, that'd add to his appeal). If he was an illegal alien, I'd still vote for him, but with a little less enthusiasm. Being a terrorist would stop  me from supporting him. The line does get drawn somewhere. I think only the terrorist thing would have a major effect on the election. But I am really liberal, I don't know how much of the world is.

It's doubtful that anything would change.  This breed of democrats today is scarier than anything I've seen.  Morality is under the bus, homosexuality is driving the bus.  Muslims have the loudest voice ever.  Foreigners can qualify to be president.  Terrorists can help lauch the careers of politicians.  Foreign countries can fund presidential campaigns.

The Constitution is the enemy to this generation of liberals, except when it helps cover their @ss.  It really is pathetic.
