I'm writing a book called "Pass the sugar please" what am I writing the story about?
I posted this question yesterday and got a few really great replies but two of them got deleted by the answerer: Please think about the answer to this for 15 seconds before you answer. What is this story about?....what is the subject matter, in what manner is it written?......even if it's only a suggestion, please pass the sugar might be literal or not........ ideas anybody?

Even it is a small request , it is a civilisation thing.
After long years of imprisonment in a wildest jail , a man returns home & goes to a restaurant . Someone asks him the sugar as " pass the sugar please " .
It might be the 1st sentence that recalls civilisation after long long years and makes him realise that he is a human being , but not a hopeless & poor prisoner anymore.

it sound like your writing your touching true story about your first out of the womb, only surviving twin son, who suffered brain damage during birth.
and how sad it was that he couldn't remember to call the salt, salt. so he would call it sugar.
but as the story progresses it becomes a inspirational book on how we as humans can over come. It does by showing how far your son has progressed, but at times still calls the salt sugar.

Sounds like a girly novel or something... No idea? Involves a cafe or some kind of cafe romance? Frankly though, you can't judge a book by its title so really, it could be about anything at all... Could be a cookbook with recipes for sweet things or anything at all really...
For some reason though it makes me think of my high school science (chemistry) workbook though - it was called "Pass the Salt".

It could be the story of a Diabetic, that has to learn to "pass the sugar",
Or, It could be about A family with only one baby and they all want a chance to hold it.
Both could be funny, true life or a serious story......

Sounds like your writing about table manners. Passing the sugar , salt and pepper. Placing knives, forks and spoons correctly when your done with your food. Basically Etiquette

if i were to come across this title i would think of it as a lonely soul just looking for love...but thats just me!
such as a beautiful young girl, mid 20's, who only ever falls in love with jerks and just wants to be loved for who she is and not her looks. what she is looking for is a very sweet guy (hence the sugar part) and she goes on many dates before finally finding her "sugar".
tell me what you think!

Why even write a story if you don't know what your writing about? No one is going to do your work for you. It's no wonder your question got deleted.
