Is online for the Wii free?

    Online gaming is free on the Wii, however if you want to browse the internet you have to purchase the Internet channel for $5, and if you want to download virtual console games those also cost you money. Nintendo does provide some free channels for you to download like the "Everybody Votes Channel," "Nintendo Channel," and "Check Mii Out Channel."

    Yes, it's completely free.

    However, if you download on the Wii the download charges would go to the access point you are using to connect to the internet.

    yea its free.

    But you have to pay 500 points to get it which is $5. But after that it free.
