McCain - what an impressive guy. you will have disagreed along with his platform/plan, yet while a guy, stands up and congratulates his opponent like that, one venture can merely be mentioned - McCain is a real gentleman. I agree, McCain's congratulatory speech to Barack Obama was amazing. Yeah the fan's boo'd, but I guess you would expect it since it was the most grueling campaign war I have ever seen, and it is finally over. Congrats to both McCain and Obama, now it's up to us as Americans to make a change!

I think McCain and Obama are both obligated to show some extreme respect for each other after kinds of stuff we saw in this campaign. There were pretty nasty stuff.

Obama's speech was very uplifiting. Alot of politicians usually get behind the curtain and not say what they mean which tends to cause a wave of cynicism.

It really was; as an American, I was proud to see a U.S. Senator show so much class and dignity in defeat, even to the point where he tried to shut up the jerks who were booing Obama/Biden tonight.

well, i thought obama's speech was the best of the election, but i was very impressed with senator mccain's speech tonight. he seemed sincere, which he doesnt usually. i dont think the republican party has let him be himself

By far the best speech by either during this whole mess. Just wish he'd run with it instead of backtracking. Not like he had much of a chance in that state anyway.

Not best, but if not for the bitter losers in his followers, it would have been one of the best. Very gracious.
