Are you freaking kidding me? How the hell is she supposed to support them?

A bullsh*t 'roughing the passer' penalty, no-calls on the Steelers, and then no review on the last play? As a Seahawks fan, I feel your pain. The Steelers played a good game, but it sickens me to see it go down like that AGAIN! Your team played it's heart out and represented the NFC West well. You should be proud... understandably bitter, but proud.

If so, you've probably been upset for a good 8 years with all the deficit spending that's been going on. If not, if this anger is new, then you, my friend, are what they call a hypocrite.

Here's the story. Snowed really bad here in Seattle a month ago. On the bus to work, this cute girl sat next to me. Made some small talk about the snowy situation (city in chaos, bus extra crowded and taking forever, us having to go to work regardless). Said bye and got off at my stop.

Fast-forward 3 weeks or so, and I see her at the restaurant that I work at. I stop by her table and say hi, ask for her name, which I didn't get the time before, and talk for a minute. There was definitely chemistry, but I felt hesitant to press it further and ask her for her number because I was at work and it's a little unprofessional. I caught her looking around the restaurant as she was leaving and I immediately regretted not doing so.

I asked one of my co-workers if I should try to look her up on myspace to get a hold of her. She said no, that it would be a little stalker-ish. (strangely enough, she said to go online and look at her profile but not to contact her, which sounds more like stalking to me)

So this was about two weeks ago, and tonight, while sitting around bored, I searched for her on myspace, and surprisingly found her immediately. Kind of amazing considering there's probably 500+ girls with her name in my city.

Should I try getting a hold of her?

I wait tables for a living, and I consider myself pretty good at my job. However, there's always room for improvement. What do you notice that makes the difference between good and excellent service when you go out to eat?

I work in a restaurant. Sales in January are traditionally slow, but it's worse than ever right now.

I see you guys have so much time on your hands. Maybe you need to bite the bullet and take a lower paying job for the time being. What's that phrase you use? "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps."

How could you seriously think this woman could be a viable candidate in 2012?

Personally, I think Condi Rice did a fair job, considering she didn't have much to work with. However, I think Hillary has much more potential and could be much more influential.

I found McCain's concession speech to be extremely gracious and patriotic. I hope both candidates are planning on working together to move our country through these trying times.

Seriously, I see so many people saying "The polls don't mean anything, McCain's gonna win!" Would anyone be willing to place a wager on the election then? For McCain to win, I'll give you two to one odds.
