I don't have one issue, I have several, but here are the top few in no particular order:
- tax policy
- foreign policy
- the environment
- transparency and honor in government (think PATRIOT act and Guantanamo)

The rule of law.
Bush spat on the constitution, and so does McCain. Palin cheats with her expenses and thinks she has the right to break the law.
Obama will make sure that the official institutions once again respect America's laws. Democracy and the rule of law are the two pillars on which free societies are based. Disrespect either of them, and you might as well live in a third-world banana republic.
