Let's put it this way, God is in control and he will use you to accomplish His will whether you believe in him or not. That being said, the things you see, may or may not be good, however the real point for you to come into the knowledge of is the fact that God finds you worthy to allow you to dream and have things come to pass. If you are faithful with these small dreams or visions then you will receive greater dreams. The key to this is not what you dream but what you do with the knowledge of them. I only ask you to remember not to cast your perils before swine. Be selective on who you share with and have those people you do share with keep you accountable to those dreams. Dreams are meant to prove to you personally who is really in charge=God. If what he allows, comes to pass, then journal it and mark it down in a calender. If you are dogmatic in a dream and it does NOT come to pass your only choice then is to wait for it to come to pass or inspect the author of the dream. You will know right away if it is from God or that other guy in a red suit. Point is you are to find the lesson in it for yourself. Sure it may be meant for someone else but every wants to know who you give credit to for these dreams. There are only two types of fruit that come out of our lives and one is fruit from heaven and the other is fruit from H E double L. I understand if you don't believe in God but he believes in you obviously.

Only if you see lottery numbers. LOL
Seriously - you are probably experiencing Deja Vue, in which your mind feels as if it is activating the "recall" portion of your brain. I have had this a lot and I know it feels really real, but science has shown that it is just another part of your brain chiming in randomly when you see something.
But if you want to explore this from another angle: Can you dream something and then it happens? Sure. But since most of what you dream does not happen, how could you ever tell what in your dreams was prophetic versus what was just junk? A percentage of all the images and situations in our dreams can repeat themselves in the real world, but it does not make us psychic - it means that our constructions in our dreams are built from the same reality we walk though each day.
