What insects eat other insects? ?

Praying Mantis, Assassin bug, Wheel bug are a few predatory insects.

well there are very agressive bugs that lie and wait these are assasin or kissing beetles

then there is robber flies

scorpian flies steal from spiders

these is sexual cannibalism such as a mantis

i mean i know its not an insect but many spiders

i think there are some cricket that do so

and some locusts

and horribly but fascinating wasps that live in a caterpillar and when they hatch out them they release a chemical that causes the caterpillar to become neutral sex wise and controls the caterpillar to protect the larve

An ichneumonidae lays its eggs in a caterpillar and they eat it from the inside, but it doesn't have a not-scientific name i dont think- gross but true! Wasps eat smaller insects too.
