how do you feel about driving under the influence ?

is there a such thing as knowing your limit or is one drink too many when driving?

should laws be stricter?

harsher penalties imposed and jail time even on the first offence?

do you know anyone hurt or killed by a drunk driver?

have you ever driven under the influence?

i'm asking these as part of a paper i'm doing i want people to be as honest as possible, since i don't know who you are i thought i'd get the most honest responses.

Update:

i suprised at the fact that only two people answered.

is it possible that there are more people tah i thought who think that driving under the influence is ok?? please respond.

i'm doing this simply as an un official survy of a class.

tell me when is too much to drink too much?

Update 2:

sorry for typos it won't let me correct them

I don't drink with one drink, but that doesn't mean that someone bigger couldn't and still be under the limit, so that first question is tough.

I think there should be harsher penalties, and there should be jail time on the first offense, they were just lucky they didn't kill someone. Not a long sentence though, a weekend would probably be enough, plus losing your license for at least a couple of months. Second offense, actual jail time, and lose your license for good. There's no excuse for a second offense. Once is a mistake, twice you should know better.

My college roommate's mother was killed by a drunk driver.

    No.

I think once you've gotten a DUI you should get your license taken away for 2 years. that should teach them a lesson. But thats only my opinion.
