Blackberry Storm & The Required Data Plan...?
Here's the situation.
I currently have the enV which I got for Christmas two years ago.
Loved the phone and couldn't have asked for a better phone for the past two years, but its aging and some lights are broken, the battery is horrible (dies from a full charge after about 6 minutes of talk time), and I'm ready for a change, especially as my contract is up.
I really want the Blackberry Storm yet am a little concerned about the data plan that is required. I am on a family plan now with unlimited calling/texts. How would this carry over on the storm? Does this data plan basically give me unlimited email/internet access and thats it? And then I get my unlimited text/call separate with my family plan?
Thanks

Ive been thinking about this too. I called my verizon rep and asked them and they told me that the only thing that you would change is you would get the $29.99 data plan called the Blackberry Solution. Currently it costs $49.99 but on November 14th they are going to lower the price to $29.99 (which makes one think, maybe that is VERY close to when the storm is releasing). So all you need to do is buy the BlackBerry Solution plan. Hope this helps.
