Do you run year round or do you take a break?

Just taking a survey...

I'm a mileage hog, my goal every year is 1000 miles, I usually finish in October, or November if I get sick somewhere during the year, but after I hit my 1000, I do more crosstraining, but I still run, just not as much, how about you??

I run all year long but the winter in my area is really bad so I cut back significantly in those months.

I break the running season off at Mid November and enjoy the holidays.

On January 02, I get back to some light jogging and slowly build to a full running by Mid March to get ready for the spring races.

I run through all four seasons but in winter it's definately not as often but that's only bc our roads don't get plowed--last year they were on strike but whether it's -14 outside degrees farenheit or 25 degrees farenheits and humid, I'm out there unless I have an injury and even then...

I start from early August all the way until the beginning of December. Then its a break all the way until track/field starts.
