Best paint to use for small rings made of aluminum wire?
I need to color about 10-20 lbs of self-made 6mm aluminum rings in four different colors. I considered anodizing them, but I can't seem to find a metal finishing shop that does gray or white (two of the colors I need). Can anyone recommend a type of paint (or method) for painting smooth metal rings that will resist peeling or chipping?

There is a base coat made by Folk Art and probably most of the craft paint manufacturers that is made to apply to aluminum before you paint it. People who want to paint their tin and aluminum mailboxes, or do tin art use it, so it would work for your project too. You can purchase these base coats from a hobby or craft store and even WalMart.
