Question for the guys:?

I can't speak for all guys, but to me makeup is a bizarre thing, especially when it's a 'need-to-do' thing. What sort of screwed-up culture do we have if women aren't allowed to present their real faces to the world? I mean, we weren't born with makeup, so why would we 'need' it, as a previous poster said?

The subjective reasons I'm not a big fan of makeup are this: (1) when you touch a girl with your hand, or kiss her, you don't want to come away with a bunch of petroleum products on you, and (2) I feel like a woman is hiding her true self from me and is not confident with how she looks.

That having been said, I sometimes think makeup is attractive. I just think that the person underneath the makeup should be doing it because she wants to accentuate her beauty (like when she wears a pretty dress) rather than creating some sort of beauty she thinks she doesn't have. Also, wacky, extreme makeup is fun sometimes.

As for the second question, I'm not a big fan of baggy shirts for girls or guys (maybe I misunderstood what you meant by 'loose' though). But that's a personal thing. Ultimately, I think you should respect yourself -- i.e., wear clothes that are in line with your dignity as a human being and make you feel good about yourself, but don't feel like you have to wear amazing clothes all the time just to be accepted. That's a terrible burden to have to bear.

My wife still doesn't wear makeup because I think shes beautiful without it. I love her in tight jeans and a white top. But she looks good that way.

Now, not knowing you except that your young, Makeup covers up problems or high lites good points. Some women must wear makeup, but when you see them later without it they don't look as good.

You should wear what you think you look good in, or if you don't care about looking good wear whatever. Guys who wear baggy shirts and pants with their underwear hanging out hide what they really look like, so why would a girl wanna take the time to know them.

Same with a girl, if you dress attractive the odds that you'll meet allot of guys is higher then if you cover it all up.

That said, don't hang it out for free, if you do we will want to meet you, but not have a long relationship with you.

Do what you feel happy with and wear what you feel comfy with; if the guy you are with doesnt like it, then he doesnt deserve to have you!!

Some girls look great with make up, some great without. I think it depends where you are going or what you are doing. And it's the same with what you wear. If you were going to a friends wedding, you would dress up to the nines, but if going down the pub for a game of pool, it would be t shirt and jeans.

I realise it is not a definitive answer, but I think the point I want to make is the first priority is to do what makes YOU happy.

Think about it. Makeup is fake! It's artificial, you don't really look like that don't ya? The types of girls I usually go for are tomboy types who don't wear makeup, and prefer to wear jeans and a tshirt. They're more authentic if you ask me.

I prefer no makeup, prefer the real deal and not the pasted over look.

I don't like nail polish either, unless it is a clear coat.

Makeup, high heels and a good body are a killer combo and that's life. But if you don't want to or need to compete for the males of your choice then you don't have to.

I'm inclined to suspect that guys who say they don't makeup really mean they don't like overdone makeup. As for clothes, the style is up to you, as long as you wear your size, not one size too large or too small.
