singer prelude sewing machine?
the manual wheel will go backwards but jams when turning forward. Of course this makes it impossible to sew. Last time I used it, it worked great. Please help!!
just figured it out I still had the bobbin winder on. It won't do anything with this on. Thanks though

Do you have a direction book that would have come with the machine? It may have a "trouble shooting" section in the back. Does you type of machine need to be oiled? Did you change the preasure foot recently? If I have on my 1/4 inch quilting foot and then try to zig-zag, the needle hits the preasure foot & will not sew.
