Zero calories. Its full of artificial sweeteners, though no sugar.

Check the Label for High Fructose Corn Syrup which is very similar to sugar.

Nutrition Major Here. Ok, so here is the weird thing. Fairly recently, a study was published that claimed that people who consumed artificial sweetners gained more weight than people who consumed real sugar, but the theory behind why lies in the taste buds. Generally, artifical sweetners are "sweeter" than real sugar, so people who consumed artificial sweetner are thought to have a higher tolerance for sweets than people who consume real sugar. Since they need more "sugar" to get the same level of sweetness, they eat more sugary thing in other forms, like sweeter candy bars, cakes, brownies, etc, than someone who never consumed artifical sweetners. I can guarentee that someone else on here will tell you that artifical sweetners make you gain weight. Personally, I'm skeptical of the whole study because I have been drinking and eating artifical sweetners since I was 10 (type 1 diabetic family) and haven't seen weight gain because of it. Over the years, I definately have developed a higher affinity for sweets, so it's a tough call. I am a Diet Coke addict but hate the taste of Coke Zero. The difference between the two is that one is made with Splenda while the other is made with Equal. Both are bad if your trying to lose weight, but either is better than any regular soda because regular soda contains calories - which is what your minimizing. I know what your looking for - the flavor without the calories because you hate plain water. I wouldn't recommend a diet soda as a solution because it's so acidic and damaging to your teeth. It also has salt. What I would suggest is flavoring your tap water - or get flavored bottled water. I personally LOVE the little Propel packets that you can add to a bottle of water. It has very few calories, you add the powder to water, so your getting regular, non-carbonated water, and you can still lose the "water weight" that your worried about. It's cut my Diet Coke addiction almost completely. And the flavors are awesome. There are also other brands that serve the same purpose and work just as well. Any of them - ok besides kool-aid - are better than soda. Try them on for size. Good luck with your weight loss!

coke zero has indeed zero sugar. It has sweetener instead, which is not good for you either (it's bad for the heart..) The only difference between coke zero and diet coke is that, supposedly, the taste of zero coke is closer than regular coca cola(the one with sugar), but I personally thinks it also tastes pretty bad.

Sodas - sugar free or not - are bad for your skin due to the carbonation and all the crap that goes in them.

I adore Coke Zero, and all the "Zero" drinks because they have ZERO (hello!) calories - but the calories in the form of sugars aren't necessarily the only part that causes breakouts and stomach problems.

If you have acne and skin problems, lay off ALL sodas (except once or twice a week) and find something like "Skinny Water," or things that are non-carbonated.

Putting a fresh lime or lemon squeeze in a bottle or glass of water transforms the drink into something more pallatable.

It doesn't have sugar. The taste is a bit different from Diet Coke, you might try it and see which one you like better! :)
