Does iTunes have any way of editing or "splitting" songs?

Many of the albums I have on iTunes have a hidden song at the end of the last track. I'd like to be able to skip straight to that hidden song if I need to. Is there any editing software that allows you to split a track into 2 separate tracks?

    Hey GK!

I have one on my home computer. I can't remember the name of it though. You just need any old sound editing software, and it should do the trick.

I pulled the hidden songs from a lot of my punk albums and made a playlist with them. It's pretty interesting.

Here is a bunch you can get online:

If you want to just get the end of hidden tracks you can use an in-built feature of iTunes:

    - Right click the song

    - Get info

    - Options tab

    - Choose the start and/or finish time you want

This will start playing or stop playing the song at the specified time. It may take a few tries to get it right, and be sure to make sure the start/finish time boxes are checked.

if you left click the song on iTunes and select 'get info' and then choose the 'options' tab in the window you can then change when the song starts/finishes.

by adding the same song into your itunes library again you can edit the original to finish early and the newly added one to start at the begining of the hidden track
