    A malicious website is a website that contains viruses, spyware, or other things that may harm your computer...

    The most popular type of malicious website is a Javascript virus, this injects your browser with a malicious code(virus code) and makes it for example make 100 windows fly around the screen with loud screeching playing.

    Most javascript viruses are jokes, in fact I have never seen one that isn't

    To protect yourself from these first get a good site adviser, i recommend WOT

    I'm with ╔►BOBTHE... on this one. How ever there are a number of folks on Yahoo! Answers who might even call Yahoo! Answers a "malicious website" considering how many times they have been attacked.

    all right so u know what a virus is right? bad program screws you up. so a malicous website is basicaly the tree of evil, and it drops seeds of viruses into your web browser, then they worm their way into your computer, thefore infecting you. so its basicaly a seeder for viruses. hope this help-s, emial me if you have anyother tech Q's
