oil choices for engine 3.8 liter?

Been using Mobil 1 in my car for last 100,000 miles, however I am seeing all oil rise in price, especially Mobil 1. I can get Valvoline synthetic for almost eight (8) dollars cheaper per oil change. Any insight on if this makes a huge difference (except for price of course) in changing to Valvoline synthetic or is it best to just stay the course and why you believe so. Thanks

Stay with the synthetic but Valvoline will be fine.

The name brand of the oil does not really matter. They all claim to be the best. Just change it every 3000 miles and you will be alright with any brand you want to use.
