why do ppl hate arabs? did they do something? i don't get it!!?

I mean, do we need to keep mentioning this? I was hoping this little anti-Arab mess was dying down on this site...

People who hate and judge others because of their race are shallow and I, in no way, associate myself with them.

People are really bad at sorting things out, especially these uber right wing super patriots in America. They want to draw correlations everywhere when there really aren't any to draw. The war on terror has been a big thing in America, and these close minded people see that the people we are warring on are mainly extreme Muslims of Arab descent, and they justify it in their mind that it is alright to suspect any Arab and look into it further, i.e. the patriot act. People act very irrationally when they are anxious, these people think that their local mosque teaches bomb building classes instead of Sunday school. In WW2 times they locked up all the Japanese Americans in internment camps because they thought they were safer with them behind bars and all rounded up. People feel safer when other people's freedoms are reduced.

Your last comment shows that you are as just as bad as they are. "I know why people hate Muslims", why can you understand this, this is just the fear i was talking about that leads people to think irrationally. People think that just because someone is Muslim that it automatically makes them hateful and a terrorist. That would be like another religion thinking all Christians are polygamous bigots because they saw some stories of that on the news, can you see how ridiculous this is yet?

It's racism because of "The War On Terrorism" and September 11th. If you remember back to that day, ever since then there has been a lot of hate crimes towards Arabs or middle eastern people in general. It's really sad that a large portion of the population can't just see Arab's as normal people, but instead get up bothered when there around thinking the Arab's are out to kill them.

I can't stand seeing that dumbass sh*t on the news about how some Arab family had to miss there flight because people were freaking out etc. It's really sad.

All Muslims believe in Qur'an and sunna (acts and sayings of prophet Muhammad (pbuh), so look at this hadith :

Islam rejects certain individuals or nations being favored because of their wealth, power, or race. God created human beings as equals who are to be distinguished from each other only on the basis of their faith and piety.

Iraninan's reason is that Saudi Arabia sided with Iraq in the war of Iran and Iraq. Iranians were banned to go for Haj for many many years after that war. When Saudi Arab government allowed Iranians for Haj in mid eighteen, Iranians tried to do anti Saudi propaganda in Mecca to cause revolt against Saudi Government. To stop them fighting started between Saudi police and Army with Iranians. Some how they managed to bring arms and did come to fight during Haj. Some 400 to 500 Iranians were killed in that conflict.

Pakistanis hate Saudis because they always complainted that they get paid lot less than people of other nationalities. They always said Saudis prefer Christian Phillipinos and Hindus of India over we Muslims from Pakistan. They talked about Saudis all the times how bad Saudis were but they also tried to get work visas for their friends and family members to bring them in Saudia. This was my observation when I was working in Riyadh in the same hosptial these Pakistanis were working.

Do you write Arabs, but mean Muslims. The two are not synonymous even though many Arabs are Muslim. Arab is an ethnic group; Muslims are a religious group.

If, as you write, "...ppl hate," Muslims, it's because of the acts of Islamic extremists, such as the bombings of the World Trade Center.

People stereotype by assuming one is Muslim if one looks Middle Eastern, even though a Caucasian or an Asian can just as easily be Muslim just as a Middle Eastern looking person can be Christian or Jewish, so ultimately it IS about Islamic extremists.

The reason can be coz non Arabs think that Arabs r proud thats wat i have heard from others.I never met any Arab personally & even if i have met some i wont be giving the view abt the whole Arab race :)

why do some men hate women, or some women hate men? why do some americans hate mexicans, or why do some whites hate blacks? Why does both blacks and mexicans hate whites? Why do people hate - this question doesn't have an answer. It's just the way it is. Don't take it personal, just try to recognize the hate and make fun of it.

Because we don't like to be subjugated to Pan-Arabic Imperialism, which is what islam is, at the core.

Read up on the Crusades and more recent Islamic extremism. The history of conflict between Christendom and the Arab world goes back a long way. With that said, it would be foolish to treat all Arabs or Muslims as potential terrorists since many of them moderates that wish to avoid further violence with the West.
