Who should get veterans day off?

Since we're supposed to be honoring veterans, why don't we give just veterans the day off and make everybody else work?

I think veterans should definitely get this holiday off with pay.

We are honoring all veterans, alive and deceased.

I honestly don't think a veteran would want to be paid for a day he didn't actually work. No one is off here except federal employees, and that would include veterans who work for the federal government.

Just say thank you the next time you meet a vet. They would like that a lot more than a day off. They all carry some fascinating history with them.

I am not a Veteran but I do believe that they should. If you can risk your life for your country you can have 8 hours out of the office. Greedy A S S companies!
