Have you read 'The Outsiders' by S.E Hinton?

I was just wondering, if anyone has read 'The Outsiders' By S.E Hinton? I'd like to hear your thoughts on the ending. Personally, I thought it was really sad, and how Johnny said "stay golden Ponyboy". Then Dally?! All in all, it was a great book in my mind. So, anyone else have any thoughts on the book? Thanks!

This book has made me cry every single time I've read it. It is also the only book I have ever re-read more than three times. I love this book so much. I don't think words could adequately express my love for this book.

Ah, great book. The line goes "Stay gold Ponyboy. Stay gold." Dally lost it after Johnny died. Terrific moral and story. The movie wasn't that great, lost my interest half way through.
