Did you ever take driver's ed?

Question

I got my license, but my mom had me take driver's ed anyway.

So here is my funny story:
I live in a small town where there is hardly any activity.  When I was driving, it was in the morning and I was really tired so when I turned (this is on a normal street mind you, no stop lights, and only 1 line each way) I turned onto the wrong side of the road XDD It's funny b/c about 15 min earlier the girl in the car that was going too did the same thing and I made fun of her. LOL o well...

Oh, and when I took my test for my actual license, the instructor (who is a relative, has a kid in my grade, and likes me and every other kid in the high school [about 80 kids altogether]) signed my thing before we left so I was guaranteed! lol

Oh, man!  this brings memories back!  Driver's Ed is so ancient history for me :)  I know I did enjoy it though.  I remember, one day our instructor must have been bored.  We were prohibited from leaving the city in which the high school was (where we took the course), but our instructor didn't give a s*** and we drove to the beach and all around the area this one day when we were supposed to be in a completely different city miles away!  It was a lot of fun and no one but the 3 of us ever knew.

I took drivers ED i didn't have to take the test I got a waver and stuff wow that is a small town I'm from the city it is a lot different

I took drivers ed and didn't like it. It was a big waste of time 'cause the teacher hardly there and they were picking students that had their license already. To top it off, no real driving was done (none that would qualify).
