nikon d40 question about focus?

with the nikon d40 -can you do manual focus if you have aperture etc on auto--

Just a beginner looking for answers before buying a camera. Can't find an actual camera shop in the area

    You can use manual focus in any mode: Auto, Aperture priority, Shutter priority, etc. Just flip the switch on the side of the lens.

    Like maximum folk, you try to leap into this with out going over the instruction manual. initiate interpreting now--from web page a million all the thank you to the top. you're actually not likely to get lots out of this and in time, you will elect to throw the digicam away, except you study the thank you to regulate it (not any incorrect way around). you apart from mght would desire to recognize its obstacles, too, so which you would be able to bypass 'around' them.

    Theres a slider on the actual lens M-A.

    you can easily switch it to manual this way :) ♥
