Origins of Common Superstitions?
Alright, so I have to do a speech for my speech class (duh) and my topic is origins of common superstitions. I have been looking and i only found 4 kinda weak resources. I need resources and they cannot be a website(otherwise i wouldn't need this help)
Please if you could find a journal/magazine/newspaper article, interview or book excerpt, that would help me so much.
Thanks!

I can't remember the year, (it was in the 11th century) but Friday 13 was the day that the Knights Templar were arrested and taken prisoner upon the order of the King of France. Ever since, that day is known to be bad luck. You can look up the Knights templar on line.

Thres alot of crazy stuff there that could spark your interest :)
Or, Africa / the Pacific.
I dont know, but theres tons out there.
My advice is to find a superstition, and find the origon of it and it will make lots of ideas flow--trust me :)
