Is it possible to take Driver's Ed online? And how long would it take?
I will be able to get my permit on December 1st but I obviously have to complete Driver's Ed before that. Is it possible to do it online, and how long can it take?
I'm in California.

Ive never heard of doing an online course......
But in Texas I did a "parent taught" thing....basically think of homeschooling, but with drivers ed instead.
Maybe they have something similar to that in California?

Its a multi-week course that you take usually when your in school. You'll take a series of written tests (very easy) and then you'll get to practice driving with an instructor. I don't believe there is any way you can take it online because a significant portion of it is spent in the car. It would help to brush up on your knowledge of the road though. My advice is just to take it through your school, its way cheaper that way and its a fairly short course. It was very helpful to me when I learned to drive. Good luck!
