Should i study abroad in my native country India or abroad somewhere else(ie. Australia) [currently studyin US?
I having a tough time deciding between studying abroad in either India or perhaps Australia. Currently, I am attending UCLA (CA, United states) I am indian so I thought it would be good to study for a semester in India, I have been to India a few times but I always have wanted to experience college life there.
However, many people are telling me that it would be better if I studied somewhere else besides my native country, because I would experience a new culture, different way of life, etc... I need to decide in 3 weeks and I dont know where I should study
i attend UCLA so there is a special EAP (eduacation abroad program) that allows me to study for a semester or more in nearly any country in the world

well i think its a good idea to get another culture. but australia is hardly a different culture to USA. although stereotypes may say we do. also, since you'd be an overseas student, you'll have to pay full fees. it's more expensive than what most aussies have to pay. it'll also depend on the course your doing. however, our dollar isn't worth much anymore, so if you've been in america, maybe it won't be so bad. it's gone down to 65-70 cents i think. however, aussie uni courses & degrees are internationally recognised.
it'll also depend on where you live. sydney is one of the most expnesive places to live apparently.
if you've always wanted to experience college life in india go for it.
maybe you should try going to a international university/college. i know there's some medical school in ireland thats like that. better qualifications i think. try a place like that maybe.
