What in your opinion is the most underrated hip hop album?
I hear people talking about illmatic on here alot but never hear about big L's lifestylez of da poor and dangerous which is almost as good also people love to hate on wayne but forget a couple years ago he was at his prime and gave us dedication 2,Tha carter 2,da drought 3,like father like son.Whats up wit that does anyone else agree in saying wayne did not always suck?he sold out now but why should we have to throw those albums/mixtapes out just because his new sh** sucks?

Dedication 1- 1000 The Drought 1-12 The Drought is over, the droughts coming back, i was just playing there is no drought-they all were NOT classics.
But as far as underrated-LUPE FIASCO's THE COOL was soooooo UNDERRATED. Rakim's the 18th letter-underrated.For all you who think Kanye always sucked-he didnt, Late Registration was underrated. And Souljaboytellem was underrated...
That was sarcasm in the purest form...

Both i consider to be classics, in fact Revolutionary Vol 2 i'd rate as my 2nd fave of all time (1st = Life after death!)

Big L's Lifestylez album was good...but it wasnt anywhere near Illmatic...And I dont stan on Nas like that...just believe me...
Underrated album...The Lost Boys...Legal Drug Money...

well i'll have to say VYP- Voice of the Young People because it is the MOST underrated. Alot of people hate on lil mama but they really dont even know anything about her music. Lil Mama is very underrated also. VYP is a great cd. Songs like L.I.F.E, College, Stand Up, etc. show that she is real hip hop. People are just ignorant of the fact that some of her music is deep and that she can really spit. If lil mama wasnt a good rapper why would she be in my top 5 favorite rappers? My top 5 is lil mama, nas, jay-z, tupac, and lauryn hill. other rappers i like alot are lupe fiasco and q-tip. It wouldnt make sense for me to like lil mama if she wasnt a good rapper because all my other favorite rappers are good. oh and lil wayne is f***ing garbage!

"The Cool" by Lupe Fiasco.
Completely overshadowed by Graduation and it was a completely unique album in itself.
