Fallout 3 - PC or PS3 version better?

I'm planning on getting Fallout 3 at some point, but I'm wondering which platform it would be better on?

My PC is spec'd for gaming, so that won't be an issue.

SO i'm wondering if the interface is more orientated to console gaming, if there's gonna be a ton of mod's on the PC like there was for oblivion, and which one runs better graphicallly.

Price wise I can get PC for £25 or PS3 for £37,so that's a factor too. just any opinions.

p.s before anyone even opens there mouths I have a 360, but its on its last legs, I had to borrow a different 360 to finish playing Fable 2, So I'm not gonna buy any new games for it in case they don't work too.

Update:

I suppose America could be alot better off..... if I lived there.

but thanks to other guys for info.

Update 2:

Will the PC version have mod's like Oblivion? I may have read somewhere Bethseda weren't releasing any modding tools, but I may be wrong, can anyone confirm this?

i have a gaming pc 3.0 ghz proc. over a gig of virtual mem. 4 gigs of ram. and the game for the pc runs perfectly on ultra high gfx settings. the only lags i ever encounter are when i initiate vats and right when i run the game. and usually the lags are for a second. the vats lag seems to be a problem with the game and not the system. designe error.

i strongly advise getting th PC version for the mods alone. eventyally they will make a mod for the game to make the graphics better. like thye did with oblivion. plus being able to change the looks of the weapons. introducing new missions from mods and what not. mods alone make the pc version way better. i have a 40" 1080p hdtv and running it at full gfx at full rez on it is just plain amazing. but honeslty it really comes down to what are you more a pc gamer or a consol gamer? narrowing it down more then that is this... do you feel more at home with a controler or a keyboard and mouse?

the interface is pretty good. could be a little better but not bad. seems like its more oreintated for the consol. but still not bad. a little better then oblivion.

Source(s): the last 3 weeks of playing ths crap outa the game and ignoring socom comf. and warhammer.... yea that good.

Absolutely the PC version. The interface was basically designed for the PC and if your computer is spec'd for gaming, the graphics will be brilliant. Just make sure you have a graphics card that's at least 256 MB and is fairly up to date. If you've never played a Fallout game before, I really recommend either Fallout II or Fallout Tactics, both for the PC as well. They might seem a bit graphically primitive if you're used to a lot of contemporary stuff, but they're really deep and rich.

i have the ps3 version and im guessing that the pc version runs alot smoother becuz when i play it, the v.a.t.s system freezes at some points, the game altogether lags alot but not too bad but as long as that doesnt bug you its a pretty good game
