Does any other Yankee fan feel this is seriously going to bite us in the ***, like the Pavano, Johnson, Wright, Brown, Igawa, acquisitons of the past.

There are three major teams out there that are voicing their want for Teixiera and they are all willing to pay the big bucks to get him...

Personally I do not the think the yankees will get him with all of the big money players they are trying to land. The Yankees freed up about 90 million a year with the free agents that filed (and thats not subtracting who comes back so it will be less) The Yankees just reportedly offer CC Sabathia a deal at 25 million a year, they want Ramirez who will be around 25 million a year, and they are going after two other starting pitchers, Burnett and Lowe. Dont forget they just signed a first baseman yesterday, and thats probably because they fear they wont get Tex and dont want to be left in the dust. He just doesnt seem to be able to fit into their plans.

the talk about him is he's very arrogant & conceited. Do the Yankees need another A Rod? That's not what being a Yankees about.

I hope the Yankees get him very much so but......

many teams do want him, its surprising that the teams almost want him more than Manny and C.C.

I hope the O's spend the money and get him. He would become the new hometown, franchise player with the flick of the pen...GO O'S!!!

yeah the mets were talkin about him for a while too. the yanks probably won since they got swisher. just my guess
