Until they are cut any spot out of the light will do, so long as it's dry and not too warm. Mine are in a basket on the counter. Once cut they should be in the fridge.

I dont really know but I see my mom keep them in a plastic bag outside the fridge.

Until you cut into them, keep them at room temp. Once cut, store in container or ziplock for future use. I think they tend to go bad on us faster if they are in the fridge.

well, i heard by keeping them in the cold, it reduces tearing so i keep mine in the fridge.
