When you give someone a gift, do you expect one in return i.e. holiday,birthday,etc or give for the joy of it?

    I give for the joy.... all my family and friends know that I have years of famine and years of plenty. And all my family and friends are the same - it all balances out at the end of the day. Life's too short to be comparing who gives who what and when!

    I give for the joy. Sometimes it's nicer to give than to recieve.
