Ladies...if you could stop your period altogether...would you?

I think I would. I'm 27 years old and have been having a period since I was 15, and I can't imagine having to deal with this for the next 20-25 years! I know a period is medically necessary to keep things "cleaned out" in there, but I have no need for ovulation (I don't want anymore kids), and my period is a literal and figurative pain in the you know what...it isn't regular at all, and my cramps...well...anyway...

...would you put an end to the monthly misery or just deal with it?

No. Fortunately, I don't experience cramps when it's that time of the month. My sister had this contraceptive injected to her and a side effect is that her period stops for like 6 months I think. She said it made her feel uneasy and bloated and not so good since all her unwanted "period" blood is just trapped inside her body.

If I was you, yes definatly. But I am too younge, and want kids yet. But you can get some birth controll shot that also makes it so you don't get your period. It only lasts so long but if you really hate it that much...

uummm.................. mine isn't bad, so i don't think i would get rid of it.

but if you don't want anymore kids, then can't you just get a hysterectomy and the period will stop too...!?
